Trust is Strength

When you are tired of trying to be strong

A prayer from Isaiah 30:15

Doubt rarely sits still. It paces, rereads, argues with itself at 1am. Isaiah's line is almost shocking in its smallness: in quietness and trust is your strength. A prayer for when you're tired of wrestling and need permission to rest instead.

In repentance and rest is your salvation, in quietness and trust is your strength. Isaiah 30:15 (NIV)

The prayer

Father, when doubt makes me restless, remind me that quietness and trust bring strength. I don't need all the answers—I need rest in You. Help me find salvation in repentance and peace.

Make it yours: change any words that don’t fit, or stop at the one line that’s true today. Amen can wait until you mean it.
