Immeasurably More
A prayer for doubt, from Ephesians 3:14-21
When faith feels unstable, the instinct is to grip harder for certainty. This passage prays for something different: roots. A prayer for being held by a love wider than your questions, on the days you can't hold much of anything yourself.
I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ. Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine. Ephesians 3:14-21 (NIV)
The prayer
God, when doubt makes me question everything, help me grasp the dimensions of Christ's love. You are able to do immeasurably more than I can ask or imagine. Root me in love when faith feels unstable.
