Though I Stumble
A prayer for doubt, from Psalm 37:24
Somewhere along the way you may have absorbed the idea that stumbling in your faith means falling out of it. This one verse takes that fear apart: stumbling is expected, and the hand holding you doesn't let go mid-stumble. Pray it slowly.
Though he may stumble, he will not fall, for the Lord upholds him with his hand. Psalm 37:24 (NIV)
The prayer
Lord, I may stumble in my faith, but I will not fall. You uphold me with Your hand. My steps are made firm by You.
Make it yours: change any words that don’t fit, or stop at the one line that’s true today. Amen can wait until you mean it.
