A prayer from Psalm 61:2
There's a particular exhaustion that comes when you reach the end of your own understanding and the questions are still there. This one-line psalm was written from that ledge. It doesn't ask for answers, just to be led somewhere higher than your own head.
Lead me to the rock that is higher than I. Psalm 61:2 (NIV) The prayer Lord, my doubts have brought me to the end of myself. Lead me to the rock that is higher than I—higher than my understanding, higher than my fears.
Make it yours: change any words that don’t fit, or stop at the one line that’s true today.
Amen can wait until you mean it.
