Questions multiply at night, when the house is quiet and there's nothing left to distract you from them. The psalmist knew that hour and prayed inside it. A prayer for the person whose doubts do their loudest work after dark.
I will praise the Lord, who counsels me; even at night my heart instructs me. Psalm 16:7 (NIV)
The prayer
God, even when I doubt, You counsel me. At night when questions multiply, my heart still receives Your instruction. You are at my right hand.
