Taste and See
A prayer for doubt, from Psalm 34:8
The psalm doesn't say argue and see, or prove and see. It says taste: try God's goodness firsthand, in something as small as one honest day. A prayer for the doubter who can't reason their way back but might be able to taste their way there.
Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him. Psalm 34:8 (NIV)
The prayer
Father, even in my doubt, I taste and see that You are good. I take refuge in You. Blessed are those who trust in You.
Make it yours: change any words that don’t fit, or stop at the one line that’s true today. Amen can wait until you mean it.
