Mercy to Those Who Doubt

A prayer for doubt, from Jude 22

Five words in the book of Jude settle how the church was told to treat people like you: be merciful to those who doubt. Not fix, not correct, not warn. If nobody showed you that mercy, this prayer asks God for it directly.

The prayer

Lord, Your Word says to be merciful to those who doubt. I need that mercy now. Be patient with my questions and gentle with my uncertainty.

Make it yours: change any words that don’t fit, or stop at the one line that’s true today. Amen can wait until you mean it.
