When Parents Forsake Me
A prayer for betrayal, from Psalm 27:10
For some people, leaving a church costs them their own parents. If your family chose the institution over you, or made their love depend on you falling back in line, this one verse holds the whole ache. God's welcome does not disappear when theirs does.

The prayer
Lord, even if my own family forsakes me, You receive me. When those closest to me have betrayed my trust, You welcome me with open arms.
