The Old Order Passes
A prayer for fear & anxiety, from Revelation 21:4
Fear and pain are part of what scripture calls the old order of things, and the old order has an expiration date. He will wipe every tear; there will be no more pain. A prayer for holding tomorrow's certainty against today's dread.
There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away. Revelation 21:4 (NIV)
The prayer
Father, I look forward to the day when fear and pain pass away. You will dwell with Your people, and we will be Yours. Until then, comfort me with this promise.
