I keep my eyes always on the Lord: the psalmist's steadiness has a technique in it, and it's about attention. With God at your right hand, the shaking stops being the whole story. A prayer for where to look when everything wobbles.
I keep my eyes always on the Lord. With him at my right hand, I will not be shaken. Psalm 16:8 (NIV)
The prayer
Father, I keep my eyes always on You. With You at my right hand, I will not be shaken by anxiety. You counsel me; even at night my heart instructs me.
Make it yours: change any words that don’t fit, or stop at the one line that’s true today.
Amen can wait until you mean it.
