My Strength

A prayer for fear & anxiety, from Psalm 18:1-2

I love you, Lord, my strength is prayed by someone who has needed the strength and received it. Rock, fortress, deliverer: these are survivor's words. A prayer for loving God from inside your weakness, and borrowing his strength for today.

I love you, Lord, my strength. The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer. Psalm 18:1-2 (NIV)

The prayer

Father, I love You, my strength. When fear weakens me, You are my rock and fortress. You deliver me. I take refuge in You.

Make it yours: change any words that don’t fit, or stop at the one line that’s true today. Amen can wait until you mean it.
