When your child is sick
The waiting room, the fever that will not break.
For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.

Lord, my child is sick and I am scared. I am holding their hand in this waiting room, and You said You take hold of mine. Hold it. Be in the hands of the people taking care of them. Steady my voice so they hear calm, and carry the fear for me, because I cannot put it down and I cannot show it either. Amen.
