Lord, I lost it. In the parking lot, in front of everyone, over a shoe. I yelled at a person who is three, and the look on their face is still with me. I am telling You plainly: that was not who I want to be. You forgive what I confess, and You do not hold it over me. Help me get back in the car and make it right, and give me a longer fuse tomorrow. Amen.
