When you cannot remember the last time you prayed
So this is it. It counts.
Because of the Lord's great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.

Lord, I cannot remember the last time I prayed, so this is it. I am not going to spend it apologizing for the gap, because You already know about it and Your compassions do not run out. They are new this morning, even this one, with the cereal on the floor. Meet me here. That is the whole prayer. Amen.
