Cast your cares on the Lord is an instruction about weight: grief was never designed to be carried in one set of arms. A prayer for the physical act of setting it down, and for the sustaining that's promised on the other side.
Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken. Psalm 55:22 (NIV)
The prayer
Lord, I cast my cares on You. Sustain me in this grief. You will never let me be shaken. I release this weight to You.
