Spirit of Power
A prayer for fear & anxiety, from 2 Timothy 1:7
Timidity can start to feel like your personality after enough anxious years. This verse disagrees: the Spirit God gave you is not a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind. A prayer for walking out of the smallness fear assigned you.
For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline. 2 Timothy 1:7 (NIV)
The prayer
Father, the Spirit You have given me is not a spirit of fear. Your Spirit gives me power, love, and self-discipline. Help me walk in this truth when anxiety tries to make me timid. Strengthen me with Your power today.
