Peace With God

A prayer for fear & anxiety, from Romans 5:1-2

Beneath the daily worries, some people carry a deeper unease: where they actually stand with God. Romans answers it with a settled verdict: justified through faith, we have peace with God. A prayer for standing in grace instead of bracing for judgment.

Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we boast in the hope of the glory of God. Romans 5:1-2 (NIV)

The prayer

Lord, because I am justified through faith, I have peace with You. Through Christ I have gained access into this grace where I now stand. I boast in the hope of Your glory.
