2 prayers from this passage, for grief, fear & anxiety
I sought the Lord, and he answered me; he delivered me from all my fears. Psalm 34:4 (NIV)
What was going on when this was written
From the same psalm as verse 18, written while David was on the run and pretending to be insane to escape a king who wanted him dead. Delivered me from all my fears is said looking backward, by someone who was still hiding when he said it.
